TIMI Risk Index Calculator
The Thrombolysis In Myocardial IIfarction (TIMI) risk score is a tool used to predict the chances of severe heart complications. The TIMI risk score is an easy bedside calculation mostly based on the Blood Pressure test.
The following chart includes possible scores and their corresponding risk percentages:
| Score | Risk of heart event |
| 0 to 1 | 4.70% |
| 2 | 8.30% |
| 3 | 13.20% |
| 4 | 19.90% |
| 5 | 26.20% |
| 6 to 7 | At least 40.9% |
This means if you have a TIMI score of “0” or “1,” you have only a 4.7% risk of having or dying from a heart event. |
